This Photoshop CS2 compatible plug-in retrieves local details in highlights and shadows from 32-bit High Dynamic Range images. The tonal range of the resulting tone mapped image is compressed to fit into the limited dynamic range of monitors or printers, while local contrast is preserved. Though designed for High Dynamic Range scenes, the plug-in can also be applied to 16-bit RGB images resulting from RAW conversion.
