INSTALLATION: Simply unzip "scanlines.zip" and copy "scanlines.8bf" to your "PhotoshopPlug-Ins" folder, or whichever plugin folder your host program uses. Load your program, open an image, go to the plugins menu and select the plugin. DESCRIPTION: This filter will create those hard to produce scanlines on your image to simulate a monitor. This filter is resolution dependent! All variables work in number of pixels so if you want to see exactly how your scanlines will appear on your image, zoom in to 100% in the preview window. Spacing: This variable controls the spacing (in pixels) between each scanline. Thickness: This variable controls the thickness (in pixels, <=Spacing) of each scanline. NOTE: Thickness can never be greater than Spacing. The slider will reflect this. Luma: This variable controls the intensity of each scanline. Shift: This variable controls the shift (in pixels) of all the scanlines within the image. Noise: This variable controls the amount of scanline noise. Noise Type: These selections define the type of noise to be applied. Line: Randomizes the luma of the scanlines. Seg's: Randomizes the luma of the scanlines in segments. Pixel: Randomizes the luma of the pixels of the scanlines. Edge: Fades up the luma at the edges of the scanlines. Centre: Fades up the luma at the centre of the scanlines. Orientation: Specifies whether to apply horizontal or vertical scanlines. R,G,B: Specifies which color channels to output. Color: Specifies a color for the scanlines. Reset: Resets all values to default state. Realtime: Applies all effects (in realtime) on 'mouse drag' instead of on 'mouse release'. KNOWN BUGS: NONE.
